STEM education for K-12 students

Dr. Clausen has two active grants from the Arkansas Department of Education, one focusing on Arkansas middle school math teachers and their ability to effectively engage students in the Common Core program, and another focusing on Arkansas middle school math and science teachers and the Next Generation Science Standards.  Dr. Clausen also hosts summer programs in chemical engineering at the University of Arkansas for a wide range of K-12 students.
