Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Arkansas, College of Engineering and the departments within the College offer scholarships funded by gifts from generous donors to engineering students beginning their Sophomore year. To learn more about engineering scholarships that are available, email Assistant Dean Thomas Carter at tic at uark dot edu or stop by the Student Records Office in Bell 3189.
To apply for University, College and departmental scholarships, please visit scholarships.uark.edu and submit all required materials by February 1.

Outside Fellowships & Awards
Outside Scholarships are awards that come from agencies outside the University of Arkansas. Scholarship amount and eligibility criteria may vary widely depending on the agency. Some reputable scholarship search sites include Big Future, GoodCall and FastWeb, three nation-wide scholarship search engines.
In addition, the following sites may be of interest to chemical engineering students:
- Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship - Deadline to apply is July 1
- Society of Women Engineers- various scholarships - Deadline to apply is May 1
- ACS Scholars Program- Deadline to apply is March 1
Arkansas Non-Resident Tuition Award
For students who live in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi or Missouri, you may qualify for an out-of-state tuition scholarship. For more information visit the Office of Academic Scholarships.
